Graduate Degree Programs

This year, UCF approved two new doctoral programs:

• Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry
• Doctor of Philosophy in Conservation Biology, beginning Fall 2004

Four new master's programs are now available:

• Master of Science in Forensic Science
• Master of Fine Arts in Computer Art and Design, beginning Fall 2004
• Master of Nonprofit Management, beginning Fall 2004
• Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, pending Board of Trustees approval, will begin Spring 2005.

Two new master's tracks were created in the following programs:

• Systems Engineering and Management track in M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management Systems
• Youth Theatre track in M.F.A. in Theatre, beginning Fall 2004

Graduate Certificate Programs

UCF has three new graduate certificate programs:

• Social Work Administration, beginning Fall 2004
• Online Educational Media, beginning Summer 2004
• E-Learning Professional Development

Doctoral Fellowships

UCF's most prestigious fellowships are the Trustees Doctoral Fellowships. Trustees Doctoral Fellowships provide an $18,000 fellowship and full tuition in the first and second years to support the most qualified applicants to UCF. For complete details, go to Trustees Doctoral Fellowships.

Another doctoral fellowship program—Presidential Doctoral Fellowships—provides a $17,000 fellowship or assistantship and full tuition for up to four years to qualified doctoral applicants to UCF. For complete details, go to Presidential Doctoral Fellowships.
