College Work StudyThe College Work Study Program is a federally funded source of student financial assistance. The goal of this program is to stimulate and promote part-time employment of students who are in need of earnings from work to pursue their degrees. Students are advised to find jobs that fit with their future career plans. Graduate students are eligible to apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) from the Office of Student Financial Assistance (AD 120). Applications should be received before March 1 to be considered for Federal College Work Study. The Office of Student Financial Assistance is responsible for administering student employment under the Federal College Work Study Program (FCWS) as well as OPS employment. Federal College Work Study is available to graduate students who demonstrate financial need. Graduate students must be enrolled at least half-time (3 credits), be U.S. citizens, and maintain satisfactory academic progress to be eligible for the College Work Study Program. All students desiring to work on campus as student assistants must meet the following qualifications, which are intended to protect their academic progress and comply with state and federal requirements.
