This was the first such symposium in the state. The event not only gave students the opportunity to have bragging rights for top research projects in the state, but it provided them with a chance for sharing of scholarly research and to network and discuss possible research collaborations with others students and faculty in the state of Florida. More than 75 students represented eight universities from across the state of Florida. Students presenting at the Statewide Symposium were winners from their own university graduate research competitions. The University of Central Florida had 21 students compete in the Symposium, all winners from this past year's Graduate Research Forum.

Congratulations to all of our students who represented UCF at the Statewide Symposium and congratulations to our winners!
