Grad Fair 2013 Spotlight

Anyone interested in advancing their careers with graduate school should clear their schedule now for Grad Fair. On Wednesday, September 11, the UCF College of Graduate Studies will host the annual Grad Fair from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Pegasus Ballroom at the Student Union of UCF’s main campus.

Between now and 2020, an estimated six million jobs will be created, and they will require a graduate degree, according to a recent report from the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce. Individuals who hold graduate degree earn about 30 percent more annually than individuals with a baccalaureate degree alone, according to another study by the U.S. Census Bureau.

Each year, more and more students trust UCF and its graduate faculty for their graduate studies and to prepare them for their professional careers and beyond.

The UCF Grad Fair is an open-house style event where the public can learn more about the University’s nearly 200 graduate programs, including Master’s, Doctoral, And Specialist programs, as well as graduate certificates. This is a fantastic opportunity for prospective students to talk one-on-one with faculty and staff representing programs that interest them. Graduate Admissions and Financials staff will also be on hand to discuss the variety of admissions options that UCF College of Graduate Studies offers, as well as information on the fellowships, assistantships, and financial aid.

So tell your students to clear their schedules for Grad Fair, on Wednesday, September 11, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Student Union of UCF’s main campus in the Pegasus Ballroom.
