Funding Available for Graduate Student Presenters

Many graduate students at UCF are working on extraordinary research that is worthy of presenting at professional level conferences. However, it can be hard to find the money to get to one of these events when operating on a student budget. Don’t worry, there’s an app for that! – A fellowship application that is. The Presentation Fellowship offers students who plan to present a research paper or comparable creative activity at a professional conference the opportunity to gain financial support for their endeavors.

Presentation Fellowships are available to enrolled full-time or part-time graduate students who are in good academic standing seeking master’s, specialist, or doctoral degrees. The student must be the primary author and presenter delivering a presentation at a professional meeting with preference to those presenting at national and international conferences. Within five days of return, a presentation fellowship report must be submitted via myUCF, including proof of presentation.

The application deadline is April 1 for presentations completed January 2015 – June 2015, and awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Students are encouraged to apply early!

Visit the website to learn more about the Presentation Fellowship and how to submit an application.
