Teaching Next Generation Knights

William Furiosi, a first-generation graduate, Top Order Graduate, Order of Pegasus honoree, was recently honored by the UCF Alumni Association’s 30 Under 30 awards program that that recognizes outstanding young alumni who strive for greatness in their professional and personal lives.

Furiosi received a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences in 2013 and a Master's in Teaching Education - Science Education, Chemistry track in 2014. UCF's College Of Education and Human Performance focuses on preparing, “Professionals who demonstrate understanding of and skills required for impacting human performance and affecting measurable, positive change in the performance of others”. Furiosi combined his knowledge of science and teaching toward his career.  He currently teaches science at Oviedo High School where he seeks to educate and inspire the next generation of UCF Knights. 

Furiosi is driven by his personal motto, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way, and I’m a Will”.
