Turnitin.com Workshop

All students submitting a thesis or dissertation to the university must first submit their electronic document to Turnitin.com for advisement purposes and for review of originality. The thesis or dissertation chair is responsible for scheduling this submission to Turnitin.com and for reviewing the results from Turnitin.com with the student’s advisory committee.

The Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities hosts Academic Integrity workshops each semester in which faculty can learn how to use Turnitin.com and receive a Turnitin.com account.

The following Academic Integrity (Turnitin.com) workshops will be held:

  • Monday, September 13, 1:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, September 14, 10:00 a.m.
  • Tuesday, September 28, 10:00 a.m.
  • Monday, October 4, 1:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, October 12, 10:00 a.m.
  • Monday, October 18, 1:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, October 26, 1:00 p.m.
  • Monday, November 1, 1:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 9, 10:00 a.m.
  • Monday, November 15, 1:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 23, 10:00 a.m.

All workshops take place at the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning in Classroom Building 1, Room 202. No RSVP is required.

Advisers unable to attend an Academic Integrity workshop must contact the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities at 407-823-6960 for Turnitin.com access.
