Description:
The Nanotechnology program offers students a choice between the research-based MS or the applied PSM degree. In either case, students are provided unique curriculum and opportunities to learn critical research skills. In the traditional master’s degree students are mentored through the completion of a thesis, while the Professional Science Master’s (PSM) offers a graduate certificate in Technology Ventures and a one-semester industry internship. For both degrees, the strong tie to the nanotechnology industry represents an added benefit to the student through networking opportunities and job connections.
