Showcase Research and Creative Projects

Now is the perfect time to share your research and creative projects with others in the UCF community during the Fifteenth Annual Graduate Research Forum. The Graduate Research Forum is an annual showcase of the diverse research and creative projects presented by UCF’s graduate students. The Forum provides an opportunity to win cash awards for your work, gain presentation experience, and receive valuable feedback from faculty judges.

The Forum is open to currently enrolled graduate students. The deadline for submissions is February 12, 2018

If you are a planning on submitting your 250-word abstract, take advantage of the guidelines for presentations information to produce the strongest proposal you can. 

Additionally, there will be workshops offered in the Graduate Student Center (Colbourn Hall, RM 146) that will address Presentation Skills (February 1, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., and March 29, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) The Basics of Poster Presentations (March 6, 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and March 29, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) and Dealing with Communication Anxiety (February 27, 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.). Students presenting for the first time as well as previous presenters who would like to further hone their skills are encouraged to attend these workshops. Students can register for the workshops through their myUCF Student Center under Graduate Students then Pathways to Success.

Graduate Research Forum, a part of Student Research Week is scheduled for April 3, 2018, from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the Student Union, Pegasus Ballroom.
